This Privacy Policy describes how Aman, operated by Base71 on behalf of the Education, Human Development and Community Development Council (EHCD), collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, organisation details, and any application data submitted for certification. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, time spent on the platform, and browser information.
2. How we use your information
We use collected information to process certification applications, communicate evaluation results, improve platform functionality, comply with legal obligations, and generate anonymised analytics for regulatory reporting.
3. Data protection
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. All data is stored in UAE-based infrastructure in compliance with local data sovereignty requirements.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with EHCD and relevant UAE government entities as required for regulatory compliance. Third-party service providers who assist in platform operations are bound by strict data processing agreements.
5. Children's privacy
As a child safety platform, we take children's privacy seriously. The Aman platform is designed for use by organisations and professionals, not children directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Certification records are retained for the duration of the certification validity plus three years.
